Customizing and Delivering Oral Communication Programs

This module presents the oral communication skills used on the job, ways to determine the oral communication skills on any job and instruction methods and techniques to teach oral communication skills.

Customizing and Delivering Reading and Writing Programs

This module presents ways to determining the reading and writing requirements of the job, ways that workplace materials and issues can be used when instructing reading and writing, the steps in the writing process, reading strategies used in the workplace and some of the literacy education methods and techniques that work.

Customizing and Delivering Math Programs

“Customizing and Delivering Math Programs” looks at determining math skills in jobs, ways of assessing for math skills, how to include workplace materials and issues in math instruction and some classroom methods for instructing math.

Instructing in the Multi-Level Classroom

“Instructing in the Multi-level Classroom,” describes a sample multi-level class and talks about what to keep in mind when instructing in a class like this. There are ways to capitalize on the multi-level class and various techniques and methods to use presented in this module also.

Cultural Issues – Diversity in the Classroom

This module examines the cultural issues that exist in the classroom, points out what instructors need to be aware of and discusses how diversity impacts the classroom.
