About AWENS

Board of Directors

AWENS operates with a full time Executive Director and a board that guides the development of the Association.

The executive is made up of two representatives from each of six provincial regions.

One skill development co-ordinator, a designated liaison between the Skills & Learning Branch of the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Workforce Development and AWENS, participates in executive meetings. The Department provides co-ordination support.

The board is elected by the membership every year at the annual general meeting.
